I hope this Monday brings you lots of smiles. As I was searching for this week’s Monday Quote I wanted something a little different, and then I came across this quote by Phyllis Diller. She was a very funny woman, just thinking about her brought a smile to my lips, and so we have this week’s quote. I hope you all have lots of smiles in your life today and for the whole week. It costs nothing, but spreads joy wherever it goes.

I hope this week’s quote resonates with you the way it has with me. I have been a bit under the weather and I missed last Friday’s Bucket List post, but I’ll have it for you this week instead. Tomorrow I’ll have a special blog on a brand new Valentine’s anthology releasing from JK Publishing tomorrow and featuring five wonderful authors.
Please feel free to share this image just don’t remove the copyright. Thank you.

I love this quote. It reminds me that every little thing I do has a ripple affect on my future. The important part is to ensure that the ripples are good ones.
I hope you all have a wonderful week with lots of positive “ripples.”

Since it’s the start of a New Year I thought I’d begin a new series, Monday’s Quotes. Each Monday I’ll add a new quote along with a photograph. I hope you’ll share some of your favorite quotes and I’ll post them here.
Today’s quote is one of my favorite and similar to the Serenity Prayer. It reminds us that we should only focus on the things we can change and make a different with, and not worry about the rest. It’s not always an easy idea to hold on to but I think one definitely worth trying for.
Go ahead and share this post or the image if you’d like, but please don’t remove the copyright information.
I hope this year brings you lots of peace, love and happiness.

Are you pursuing your dreams? Or are doubts keeping your feet stuck in the mud of disappointment? Dreams were easy when we were young, they didn’t have to something real. My oldest daughter wanted to be a fairy princess or a movie star, okay the movie star part could be real. My youngest wanted to talk to dolphins.
Of course their dreams changed, morphed into others as they got older. My dream was to be a published author, to be able to go in to the bookstore and find my book on a shelf for sale.
Part of that dream has come true. I am a multi-published ebook author. Doubt wrestled with me many times over the years. I started and stopped writing, and began and put aside many different stories. I believed I wasn’t good enough, didn’t have enough talent, that my stories were boring. Doubt and fear had me firmly in their grasp.
But I didn’t give up! I finished a book, submitted it, and it was accepted. I had held on for the rocky ride and succeeded. It was amazing!
When I think about everything that has happened since then I am so glad I didn’t give in to the doubt. From the acceptance letter, the first autograph requested, the first review, and the first fan mail. Truly a dream come true.
Dreams/doubts? What are you hoping for? Please share.
